Know as the land of the Sun, the blazing golden sun is an ancient cultural symbol for the Kurds that is featured in their flag, architectural motifs
and patterns.

Made of 21 equally sized rays, the sun symbolises a source of life, acting as a “light of the people”.  The sun symbol also shares a visual link back to the Emaar brandmark, with the sun rays being a key element.
This route draws from this, creating an interesting medium symbolising growth and optimism.
